Art

We make our paintings side by side, mixing our different styles and ideas into one body of work. It’s a back-and-forth process, where our conversations and perspectives shape the pieces as they come together. The goal is simple: to let our strengths play off each other and create a collection that keeps growing and changing with us.

Laura & Jeff Gogué

Our first collaborative effort as a painting duo. Part of a series of birds and the moon.

Moon and Wing

Oil on Canvas 24”x48”

In Native traditions, the heron reflects self‑reliance and the courage to walk one’s own path. In Japan, it embodies purity and stillness. Paired with the moon — symbol of cycles, intuition, and transformation — they speak of harmony, patience, and quiet strength through changing tides.

Currently painting occasionally between our upstairs studio space and our living room to be with our dogs… We are working on a bird series with hopes of getting some momentum with wildlife preservation and conservation. Our new coastal & Pacific Northwest environment has been incredibly inspiring, though we aren’t limiting it to the regional inhabitants. We love all birds :)
